We are delighted to be able to announce that, Varsity Training have added the new Level 5 Leader in Adult Care standard to their apprenticeship offering.

The Institute for Apprenticeships earlier this month released details of the new standard which will replace the Diploma for Leadership and Management Framework. Del Wraight, founder and Director of Varsity Training said, ‘We’ve been eagerly awaiting the confirmation of this standard since the announcement that this programme was in development. It has always been a valuable course for anyone managing in care, and we look forward to working with employers to provide this qualification to their staff’

The standard has been developed by Skills for Care, in partnership with key employers in the sector to create a widely programme that will be widely regarded in the sector.Learners will also complete a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care as part of the programme, which is the required qualification managers of residential or domiciliary services are required to hold.

Varsity Training can offer this programme to those that work for both Levy and Non-Levy employers and are taking applications. Please contact the VT Office if you would like to know more information or register your interest.
